Frequently Asked Questions about our charters

When is the best time to go fishing in the Dry Tortugas or Marquesas?

That’s a tough question because everyone has their favorite time of the year to fish in the Florida Keys. Whether it be in January or June. Bottom fishing for snapper and grouper can be done year-round. People that like to fish nights come in the summer time. Daytime bottom fishing is excellent during the winter months. Spring and Fall can produce both hot and cool weather. Grouper can be fished year-round as well as porgys, grunts, amberjack, sharks and mackerel.

Your guess is as good as ours. Summer produces tropical depressions, Spring we have thunderstorms, Fall can be tropical depressions and thunderstorms, winter we have cold fronts that move through. When all these things are not going on, the weather is beautiful! Basically you buy a ticket and take your chances with the weather (see cancellation policy). No matter what, if you come with the right attitude you are bound to have a great time.
